Responsibilities

• Operate wire extruding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce wire meeting specific tolerances and finishes.
• Monitor equipment, adjust machine settings, ensure product quality, and follow safety procedures.
• Set up extrusion, armoring, coiling machines according to product requirements.
• Perform quality checks and adjust controls to meet specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Handle materials and finished products using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and observe safety rules in the work area.
• Participate in Lean initiatives, safety audits, and update GEMBA boards.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience as a Machine Operator
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written instructions related to work and safety
• Ability to work under potentially stressful conditions
• Strong math skills (including fractions)
• Basic computer skills
• Visual ability to detect colors
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work at heights

Additional Information

• Work environment may include extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and humidity.
• Personal Protective Equipment is required.
