Job summary

RPM is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative in the United States to build and expand relationships with auto-haul carriers, negotiate competitive rates, and collaborate closely with our customer sales team to ensure on-time delivery and a high-quality RPM experience.

You’ll use RPM’s software and the Transportation Management System to manage loads, optimize capacity, and communicate shipment details accurately.

Responsibilities

• Establish, expand and cultivate relationships with carriers in the auto hauling marketplace.
• Identify, source and procure new vehicle carrier relationships at key stakeholder levels.
• Manage vehicle carrier network to ensure RPM experience.
• Maintain constant contact with vehicle carriers to secure capacity and manage existing business.
• Utilize RPM’s proprietary software for informed buying decisions.
• Navigate the Transportation Management System to manage daily load tasks.
• Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system.

Your Role

We're looking for a true team player—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently creates value. As a Carrier Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for building strong carrier relationships, negotiating competitive rates, and collaborating closely with our customer sales team to ensure seamless, on-time delivery—contributing to the high-quality experience RPM is known for.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Establish, expand, and cultivate relationships with carriers in the auto hauling marketplace
• Identify, source, and procure new vehicle carrier relationships at key stakeholder levels
• Manage vehicle carrier network to ensure the ultimate RPM experience
• Maintain constant contact with vehicle carriers to secure additional truck capacity and manage existing business
• Utilize RPM’s proprietary software to make informed buying decisions
• Navigate RPM’s Transportation Management System and related tools to manage daily load operational tasks
• Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system
