The Carrier Sales Representative plays a key role within the Road US brokerage team, responsible for sourcing, securing, and managing carrier capacity to support DSV’s freight operations. This position builds and maintains strong carrier partnerships to deliver superior service, competitive pricing, and reliable transportation solutions for our customers. The role involves daily carrier engagement, load coordination, rate negotiation, and proactive shipment tracking from pickup through final delivery to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Work is primarily sedentary and performed in an office or remote setting, requiring frequent use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment. Some movement, such as standing, walking, or light lifting (up to 15 pounds), may be necessary to perform daily tasks or support on‑site recruiting events. The role may occasionally require travel to driver terminals, job fairs, or other recruiting locations, which could involve extended periods of standing or walking. Hours may be extended or staggered to support multi‑shift recruiting needs and to maintain communication with candidates across time zones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly use their hands for typing and handling documents, as well as engage in frequent talking and listening. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. For this position, the expected base pay range is $80,500.00 – $88,500.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
