Cleaning & Restoration Technician I Job Summary

Perform carpet, floor, upholstery, tile, and grout cleaning project jobs as needed. Assist in gaining and retaining customers by fulfilling the company's obligations through the timely and effective delivery of residential and commercial cleaning services.

Responsibilities

1. Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning & Restoration services the company offers.
2. Participate in the company's sales meetings and increase the average specialty cleaning ticket through upselling value-added projects.
3. Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation, authorizations, and customer invoices.
4. Communicate effectively with customers.
5. Perform basic equipment maintenance.
6. Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
7. Inspect completed work.
8. Complete the technician's daily log.
9. Complete Work Orders.
10. Operate and maintain a company van and equipment.
11. Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
12. Maintain inventory of related supplies.
13. Maintain safety and perform compliantly.
14. Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
15. Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.

Qualifications

1. Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
2. Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
3. Driver's License: Holds a valid driver's license.
4. Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
5. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Certification in performing appropriate services: Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) or any IICRC Certifications.
