The Expo Group in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Carpet Associate to support warehouse operations by inspecting, preparing, and maintaining carpet inventory for upcoming events. This in-office role is essential to ensuring materials are show-ready and meet quality standards.

Some weekend work may be required. Responsibilities include inspecting carpets, pulling and laying out carpets, seaming, repairing, cleaning, staging in carts, and operating a forklift while moving materials.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Key skills include attention to detail, physical stamina, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork.

Are you ready to play a hands‑on role in preparing materials for live events? The Expo Group is seeking a Carpet Associate to support warehouse operations by inspecting, preparing, and maintaining carpet inventory for upcoming events. Based in Orlando, Florida, this in-office role is essential to ensuring materials are show‑ready and meet quality standards. Some weekend work may be required.

In this role, you will
  • Inspect carpet for defects, dye variations, soil, and damage.
  • Pull and lay out carpet to support inspection and preparation.
  • Seam, repair, and clean carpet as needed.
  • Stage carpet in carts according to event delivery requirements.
  • Operate a forklift and assist with loading and material movement.
  • Maintain organization and readiness of carpet inventory for events.

What You Bring to The Expo Group:

  • Educational Foundation: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
  • Credentials: Forklift experience preferred.
  • Key Skills: Attention to detail, physical stamina, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and teamwork.

This role requires frequent lifting and movement of heavy carpet rolls, as well as standing, walking, bending, and crawling during inspection and preparation. The work environment includes exposure to heat, noise, and varying conditions. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
