Job summary

United States Army Reserve seeks a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to perform carpentry and masonry duties, constructing essential Army structures with hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stone, and brick. You’ll support combat engineers in building facilities that counter rough terrain and hazards.

Requires U.S. citizenship or I-551, a high school diploma, and successful background and drug screenings, with good health. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or an I-551 cardholder.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.

Responsibilities

• Build carpentry and masonry structures for the Army using hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks.
• Assist combat engineers to construct structures responding to rough terrain and environmental hazards.
