Job summary

United States Army Reserve is seeking a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to perform carpentry and masonry duties for Army projects, using hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stones and bricks. You’ll support combat engineers in building structures to address rough terrain and hazards.

Requirements include US citizenship or I-551, a high school diploma, background and drug screening, no felony, and good health. Benefits include housing, medical, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or an I-551 cardholder.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• No felony.
• Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry and masonry duties to build structures for the Army using hand and power tools, lumber, concrete, stones, and bricks.
• Assist combat engineers in constructing structures to address rough terrain and environmental hazards.
• Work on a variety of projects under supervision and adhere to safety standards and mission requirements.
