Morey's Piers Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated Carpenter Assistant to join our Facilities Maintenance Team in Wildwood, NJ. You will support carpentry work on buildings, rides, water parks, and grounds, reporting to a Senior Carpenter for 6–12 months of training and mentorship.

The role involves wood and concrete repairs, routine preventative maintenance, and occasional plumbing/electrical tasks. You must be 18+, possess a valid driver’s license, read tape measurements, and lift up to

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma required.
• Able to read tape measurements.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders and catwalks.
• Stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including days/nights/weekends.
• Outdoor work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpentry work on buildings, rides, water parks, and facilities.
• Work under a Senior Carpenter mentor for 6–12 months.
• Perform wood and concrete repairs and routine maintenance.
• Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks as needed.
• Build concrete forms; move and install fencing/railings; replace decking; install doors/windows.
• Inspect and repair wooden roller coaster track and substructures.
• Document completed work in the CMMS.
