Qualifications

• Driver's license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Stable job history and good references.
• Reliable transportation to Northeast Florida.
• Willingness to attend NEFBA classes and NCCER curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, specifications, submittals and drawings to determine material requirements.
• Select lumber or materials under supervision.
• Learn and use basic measuring tools and determine dimensions.
• Carry out instructions from craftspeople, lead carpenters, and supervisor.
• Assist superintendent/lead carpenter with carpentry tasks.
• Maintain workplace safety and report hazards.
• Turn signed work process cards to NEFBA weekly.
• Attend Apprentice classes regularly.
