Description

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform general construction labor including jobsite clean-up and moving materials by hand.
2. Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
3. Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing reshores per instructions.
4. Quickly learn and assist in vertical installations and removal, framing and decking operations, and distinguishing between different types of material and equipment.
5. Read a tape measure.
6. Work during inclement weather, potentially exposed to extreme cold, heat, noise, and dust depending on the project site.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance if requested.
2. Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.
3. Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.

Preferred Experience

Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter that meets or exceeds performance expectations.
