Description

Ceco Concrete Construction is the nation’s largest concrete subcontractor. Founded in 1912, Ceco has over 100 years of experience serving the commercial construction markets, partnering with clients to provide value to projects of varying scope and complexity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor, including jobsite clean-up and moving materials by hand.
• Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
• Assist in pouring vertical concrete and install reshores per instructions.
• Learn and assist in vertical installations, framing and decking operations, and distinguishing between different types of material and equipment.
• Read a tape measure.
• Work during inclement weather, potentially exposed to extreme cold, heat, noise, and dust from construction operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance, if requested.
• Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.
• Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.

Preferred Experience

Preference is given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter who meets or exceeds performance expectations.
