Job summary

MA 3 is seeking a skilled Wood Frame & Finish Carpenter in Washington state to install and repair trim, molding, doors, windows, and cabinetry, ensuring a near seamless finish.

You will read blueprints, measure, cut and shape wood to exact specifications, install crown molding, baseboards, and other finish carpentry details, and collaborate with other trades to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a wood frame and finish carpenter.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and construction estimating.
• Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques and tools.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and installation.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair various types of finish carpentry, including trim, molding, Door Hardware and Cabinetry
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation and alignment
• Measure, cut, and shape wood to achieve a near seamless fit
• Install doors, windows, crown moldings, chair rail, baseboard, etc.
• Caulk and seal joints to ensure a clean finished appearance
• Assemble and install cabinets and other built-in furniture
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wood Frame & Finish Carpenter or similar role
• Proficient in blueprint reading and construction estimating
• Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques and tools
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and installation
