We’re looking for a skilled Carpenter with roofing and handyman experience to support our solar installations,with a strong focus on trenching work across the region. If you’re hands-on, safety-focused, and ready to hit the road, this is the role for you!
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mainly trenching work to support solar system service
Light electrical tasks and solar panel removal/install
Minor repairs: drywall, stucco, siding, and roofing
Prep sites and assist with inspections
Follow plans, safety protocols, and AHJ guidelines
Maintain service vehicle and travel to job sites
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ year of carpentry, roofing, or handyman experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with plan sets and field layouts
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES:
Able to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and crawl for extended periods
Comfortable bending, reaching, and performing repetitive movements
Must lift, push, or carry 50+ lbs regularly
Use hands and fingers for precise tasks and tool handling
Good vision (close-up, color, peripheral, and depth perception)
Maintain balance and coordination in various positions
React quickly and adjust to movement or controls as needed
Strong core and back strength for physical support
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.) If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
