Job summary

QXO, a leading building products distributor, seeks a skilled Carpenter for our Naperville operations. You will construct, install, and finish components for residential projects, reading blueprints and measuring materials to exact specs.

Join a hands‑on crew focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will operate hand and power tools, lift up to 80 lbs, and contribute to projects from framing through finish carpentry in indoor/outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry or a related trade is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction documents.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work orders to determine project requirements.

As a new home construction Carpenter, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and installing residential construction components that support new home construction and remodeling projects. This hands on role requires experience reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and safely operating hand and power tools to complete framing, structural, and finish carpentry tasks. You'll work closely with a residential carpentry crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. • Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials as required (up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs)
• Ability to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environments, depending on the role
