QXO is seeking a Carpenter Trainee in Crystal Lake, IL to learn residential construction skills alongside experienced carpenters. You will measure, cut, assemble, and install materials, while reading blueprints and following work orders.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and hands-on growth within a team-focused environment. The position offers hourly pay from $20 to $55, with opportunities to develop craftsmanship and technical skills through on-the-job training and progressively challenging

As a new home and building construction Carpenter Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced carpenters to learn the skills and techniques used in residential construction and home building. From wood framing and structural assembly to blueprint reading and material preparation, you'll gain hands‑on experience supporting new home construction and renovation projects while developing the craftsmanship, safety awareness, and technical skills needed for a successful construction career. What You’ll Do

• Load, move, and organize materials as needed for projects

• Perform additional duties as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials as required (up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs)
• Ability to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environments, depending on the role
