Job summary

Bartow Builders is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our Manitowoc team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in framing, window/door installation with correct exterior flashing, and siding installation across LP and vinyl products.

Leadership opportunities such as lead carpenter or foreman are available for motivated individuals. The role emphasizes reading blueprints, laying out walls, floors, and trusses per plans, and performing remodeling tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry experience required.
• Experience with framing and finishing tasks preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Willingness to develop leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general framing following project plans and specs.
• Install windows and doors with proper exterior flashing.
• Install LP and vinyl siding as required by project.
• Construct stair systems and manage remodeling tasks.
• Read blueprints to lay out walls, floors, and trusses.

Job description

3+ years of experience is required for this role. 5-7+ years experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• General framing knowledge
  
• Installing windows and doors, including proper flashing on exteriors

• Variety of Remodeling Tasks
• Is willing to work at heights
• Ability to lay out walls, floor systems, and trusses per plans
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  
• Leadership experience or seeking leadership opportunities such as a lead carpenter or foreman
