Job summary

Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation seeks a Carpenter in Kotzebue, AK to construct and install structures and fixtures in line with local building codes. Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, and capable of working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities include framing, drywall, doors/windows installation, and maintaining safety on site. A high school diploma or GED and 3 years carpentry experience are required, with OSHA knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years' carpentry experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools; knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Measure and lay out ceiling grid.
• Measure, cut, and install drywall track and metal stud framing.
• Install doors, windows, frames and hardware.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
