Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a FT Carpenter's Helper for our Construction Division in Greensboro, NC. This role supports carpenters by transporting materials and tools, maintaining a tidy worksite, and assisting with measurements and setup.

Ideal candidates are willing to learn, able to work in varying temperatures, and comfortable following all safety rules. A strong work ethic and basic math skills are important for accurate measuring and placement.

Now seeking a FT Carpenter's Helper for our very busy Construction Division! This is a great opportunity for someone with basic carpentry skills to learn and grow!

This position will:

• Assist carpenters by carrying wood, tools, and other hardware to where they are needed.
• Clean up work area and set up ladders and other needed tools
• Perform basic measuring, cutting, and marking of lumber using hand and power tools.
• Hold materials steady in order for the carpenter to to perform fastening, nailing, and other tasks

Requirements

• Willingness to use basic skills to learn and grow as a Carpenter
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in different environments and temperatures
• Good basic math skills to do proper measuring.
• Willingness and ability to follow all safety rules
• Strong work ethic and interest in learning
