Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking carpenters to join our team in New York. The role involves constructing, erecting, stripping and repairing structures using hand and power tools in accordance with construction documents.

You will work under foreman supervision, with responsibilities that include setting footing and formwork, meeting safety standards, and participating in on-the-job training. This is a dynamic field position with travel requirements up to 25%.

Summary

The Carpenter will perform under the supervision of a foreman/lead duties including constructing, erecting, stripping, and/or repairing structures of steel, wood, plywood using carpenter's hand and power tools conforming to construction documents. Will be exposed to all the following duties but may specialize in one or more areas.

Requirements

Compensation for this position is expected to range from $XX.XX to $XX.XX per hour (or $XX,XXX to $XX,XXX annually).
