Qualifications

• Experience not required but you must show evidence of training or experience in carpentry work.
• Ability to interpret instructions and follow blueprints or drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and methods used in building construction and remodeling.

Responsibilities

• Erects construction barriers, remodels offices, and installs or removes walls.
• Installs drywall, door jambs, and door hardware.
• Lays out and installs floor coverings and cove base materials as specified.
• Cuts tile for irregular angles and precise measurements.
• Verifies work in progress for structural integrity and compliance with standards.
• Determines materials needed for remodeling and construction projects.
• Sets up scaffolding and ladders and uses appropriate anchors and fasteners.
• Fabricates and installs countertops, shelves, and cabinets as required.
