Job summary

Hilton Greenville is seeking a skilled Carpenter / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on carpentry and property improvement across guest rooms, public spaces, banquet facilities, and back-of-house areas.

When renovation projects slow, you will assist with general maintenance and preventative maintenance to keep the hotel in excellent condition. A minimum of 5 years in professional carpentry is required and Hilton brand standards guide daily work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry or construction experience.
  • Commercial remodeling experience preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and remodeling techniques.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough and finish carpentry for renovation and remodeling projects.
  • Install and repair cabinetry, trim, doors, frames, baseboards, crown molding, shelving, and hardware.
  • Frame walls and complete structural modifications as directed.
  • Hang, finish, repair, and texture drywall.
  • Perform demolition and site preparation for renovation projects.
  • Build custom fixtures, storage solutions, and furniture modifications.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.
  • Complete punch-list items to ensure projects meet Hilton brand standards.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and work orders throughout the hotel.
  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building repairs as needed.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms, public areas, and meeting spaces.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all OSHA, safety, and Hilton brand standards.

Hilton Greenville is seeking a skilled Carpenter / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced carpenter who enjoys renovation and construction projects while also assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of a full-service hotel.

The primary focus of this role is carpentryand property improvement projects throughout guest rooms, public spaces, banquet facilities, and back-of-house areas. When renovation projects are not in progress, this position will assist with general maintenance and preventative maintenance to ensure the hotel remains in excellent condition.
