Hausmann has steadily matured into one of the region’s premier commercial general contracting, construction management, and design-build firms. Our team is looking for people ready to contribute to the success of a project by assisting the onsite team in all duties related to the design, assembly, and construction of structures using raw materials and the appropriate hand or power tools.

This position will assist commercial construction projects by creating layouts, reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting raw materials, and helping with pre-construction installation. Primary duties include assisting the foreman or superintendent in keeping the jobsite running efficiently and safely. Specific tasks may involve building scaffolding, joining structural components with nails, screws, or adhesives, constructing frames/structures to assist in pouring concrete, and other carpentry-related duties. The ability to work productively with others, maintain open communication, and demonstrate problem-solving skills are attributes we seek in successful applicants.
