Carpenter Journeyman

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Journeyman.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to the type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard. Measure the dimensions of structures or fixtures to be fabricated.
2. Concrete and rough carpentry:
   • Hand set walls
   • Footings
   • Set gang wall forms
   • Structural concrete decks
   • Slab on metal deck and grade
   • Concrete columns
   • Drywall
3. Finish carpentry, doors, and hardware:
   • Set door frames, hang doors, and install hardware
   • Finish carpentry: toilet accessories, handrails, corner guards, toilet partitions, lockers, upper and lower cabinets, countertops, wall paneling systems, coffered ceiling systems, and running trim
4. Work effectively and build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
5. Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Note: Lifting over 50 lbs requires assistance or equipment.

The base pay range for this role is $45.54 per hour.
