Job summary

HB Rentals, a premier supplier of housing for the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Carpenter/Joiner in Broussard, LA. You will shape and install insulation, paneling, doors, and flooring, interpret blueprints, and support remodels of temporary housing units for on-site operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years’ experience, reads technical documents, holds a valid driver's license, and can pass required safety and drug tests. Training available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of carpentry/joinery experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools.
• Assist with insulation and paneling installation on ceilings and walls.
• Interpret blueprints or building plans to determine material needs for remodels.
• Install and repair insulation, doors, paneling, and moldings in rental units.
