Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking an experienced finish carpenter to build, install, and finish high-end cabinetry and millwork at local job sites in Indiana.

You will read blueprints, measure precisely, and install cabinets with attention to level, plumb, and fit, traveling as needed and lifting 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

  • Finish carpentry and cabinet installation experience is required (custom or high-end cabinetry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of cabinet installation techniques, including scribing, leveling, and fitting.
  • Ability to accurately read blueprints, shop drawings, and elevations.
  • Excellent measuring, math, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel to local job sites as needed.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, overhead, and in kneeling positions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and elevations.
  • Perform cabinet installations that are level, plumb, and accurately fitted.
  • Scribe, shim, fit, and install cabinetry, countertops, fillers, trim, and hardware.
  • Measure job sites accurately and identify any conditions that could affect production or installation.
  • Load, transport, and safely stage materials for installation.
  • Inspect materials prior to installation and verify all components against packing lists.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment in both the shop and customer homes.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges while maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Support shop production between installation projects.
  • Complete installations with little to no warranty rework while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Shift & Compensation

Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Overtime: Available Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Duties

Associates will build and install high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork. This position requires exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure every installation meets the highest quality standards.
