Job summary

Creative Cabinets is seeking a cabinetry carpenter to join our team in Marietta. You will participate in pre-site measures, create detailed build sheets, and confirm CADs as needed.

You will assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing cabinetry, doors, and hardware, ensuring precise dimensions and quality. The role requires 2–3 years of cabinetry/ carpentry experience, strong tool knowledge, and the ability to read CADs.

Qualifications

  • Carpentry experience of 2–3 years is required.
  • Cabinet fabrication and installation experience of 2–3 years in real life or educational settings.

Responsibilities

  • Attend pre-site measures, provide detailed build sheets and confirm CADs as needed.
  • Assist with producing, assembling and installing cabinetry, doors, drawers, panels, moldings, hinges & rails, hardware and related accessories.
  • Verify dimensions and ensure pieces meet specifications.
  • Assist in starting carpentry installs and coordinate with carpenters or subcontractors on site.
  • Provide field support for adjustments, punch lists and warranty items.
  • Set up, operate and maintain relevant tools and machines.
  • Clean and arrange the work area after completion of work.
  • Provide updates from job sites via daily logs and track time accurately.

Job Responsibilities
  • Attends pre-site measures, providing detailed build sheets and confirming CADs as needed.
  • Assist with producing, assembling and installing cabinetry, doors, drawers, panels, moldings, hinges & rails, hardware and any other cabinet-related or carpentry-related accessories.
  • Verifies dimensions and checks the quality or fit of pieces to ensure specifications are met.
  • Assist in starting carpentry installs, going over the scope of work and expectations onsite with carpenters or subcontractors.
  • Provides field support on adjustments, punch list and warranty items (ex: hinge & rail adjustments, touch ups, carpentry modifications, etc.
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining all relevant tools and machines.
  • Cleaning and arranging the work area after the construction or repair work is complete.
  • Provides updates from job sites and upcoming jobs via daily logs and tracks time accurately.
Job Qualifications

As a Cabinetry Carpenter at CCFF, you will be responsible for meeting the following job requirements:

  • Carpentry Experience: 2 - 3 years (required).
  • Cabinet Fabrication & Installation: 2 - 3 years of related experience (in a real life setting or educational setting).
Skills
  • Good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of cabinet assembly and installation.
  • Extensive knowledge of power tools.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices.
  • Ability to read and understand job instructions.
  • Ability to read CADs and translate them into fabricated products.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a team-oriented individual with a willingness to learn.
Physical Demands
  • Standing 90% of the day.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50-75 pounds safely.
  • Must be able to climb ladders without difficulty.
  • Must be able to perform overhead tasks, as well as tasks that include frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to use hand power tools.

Job Details
  • Compensation: Hourly - Dependent on experience.
