The Department of State Hospitals-Napa has a vacancy for a Carpenter I LT/FT position. Incumbents erect, maintain, and repair various building and structures, advise in selection of building materials, keeps records and makes simple reports. May instruct and lead unskilled assistants.
This position may be extended up to an additional 12 months (24 months maximum) or may become permanent.
Per CCR 249.3 this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
Effective July 1, 2025, state employees are subject to temporary salary reductions in exchange for Personal Leave Program (PLP) accruals.
