Job summary

Holder Construction Group is seeking a skilled Carpenter for our project in Mooresville, IN. This full-time role supports the Operations team with on-site construction tasks, safety compliance, and collaboration with field supervision.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of construction experience, the ability to read drawings, OSHA 10, fall protection knowledge, and a willingness to work at heights and lift heavy materials. Concrete experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read basic drawings.
• OSHA 10 and fall protection training.
• Demonstrated ownership and problem-solving on site.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Construct safety handrails, guardrails and hole protection, stairs and ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Perform sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Experience with concrete is a plus.

About the Role

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our Operations team on our project in Mooresville, IN. This is a full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructing andmaintainingsafety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weatherenclosuresand protection.
• Also does sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Experience working with Concrete is a HUGE plus.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Possess5 yearsof construction experience .
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• Have training on construction safety protocols (i.e.OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom andscissor).
• This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred:

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
