Job summary

LivSavvy Construction & Landscaping in New Bedford, MA is hiring carpenters and home-improvement specialists to join our growing team. We value reliability, teamwork, and pride in workmanship as we handle deck building, framing, siding, and interior remodeling.

Must have construction experience, own transportation, and the ability to read blueprints. Competitive pay based on experience and full-time work serving the New Bedford and surrounding SouthCoast areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements.
• Ability to read and act on blueprints and lead when needed.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
• Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters, decks windows and door installer siding and gutters
• Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware for doors bath kitchens
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
