Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with preparing the layout of the project.
• Learn to estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
• Help select materials and follow supervisor instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to repair and erect structures.
• Work on ladders and scaffolding while maintaining safety.
• Ensure levels and plumb through surveying and measuring equipment.
