Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC in Duluth, GA is seeking a Carpenter Helper to support skilled carpenters on commercial construction sites. You will assist with formwork, material handling, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Duties include building rough wooden structures per sketches and blueprints, using hand and power tools, and helping with interior carpentry tasks as needed. A safety-conscious attitude and ability to follow directions are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial construction carpentry experience preferred.

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, column forms, scaffolds, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints or oral instructions.
• May assist Carpenters in interior carpentry tasks such as install doors, wall forms, trim work and hardware.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
