Mr. Handyman in Durham, NC is seeking a reliable Handyman/Carpenter to perform quality repairs, remodeling and home improvement projects while building strong relationships with clients.

You should have a strong carpentry background, experience in drywall and tile repair, own tools, and be comfortable using tablet-based technology; you will work both independently and as part of a team. This role offers compensation between $40,000 and $55,000 per year, with benefits and opportunities for bonus.

Qualifications

• Skilled tradesperson with extensive home maintenance/repair and remodeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling and home improvement projects.
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and cost estimates.
• Ensure efficient use of materials and maintain stock of equipment.
• Collect payment and/or payment information from customers.
• Keep vehicle and equipment serviced and in good condition.
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets and weekly reports.
• Perform other duties, including cross-training in related positions.
