Mr. Handyman of E. Nashville & Hendersonville is hiring a Carpenter / Handyman in Hummelstown, PA to deliver high‑quality home and light commercial repairs.

You’ll work independently, manage your day, communicate clearly with customers, and use the Mr. Handyman Way to ensure a consistent, “wow” experience. The role requires 8+ years of paid handyman or carpentry experience, owning your tools, and the ability to drive a company vehicle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completing small to medium repairs and maintenance (2-hour to 2-day projects)
• Communicating clearly with customers about scope, recommendations, and pricing
• Delivering a "wow" experience using the repeatable Mr. Handyman Way
• Self-managing your day while working independently
• Providing excellent customer service, requesting reviews, and collecting payments
• Using technology to document work and follow company processes

Minimum Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Live within the service area
• Have 8+ years of paid handyman or carpentry experience
• Own your own tools
• Be insurable to drive a company vehicle

• Maintain a professional appearance and care for the company vehicle

Your Skillset

You should be proficient in at least three of the following:

• Carpentry
• Bathroom improvements
• Kitchen improvements
• Interior and exterior painting
• Drywall repair (minor and major)
• General plumbing and electrical (as permitted by law)
• Flooring installation or refinishing
• Understanding of building codes
