Geary Builders is seeking a Carpenter to join our team in Adams, MA. The Carpenter performs rough and finish carpentry on both commercial and residential projects, reading blueprints and specs, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of carpentry experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. Competitive pay, holidays, PTO, retirement plan, and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years of commercial/residential carpentry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications (preferred).
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to multiple sites.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and work from ladders/scaffolding.

Aufgaben

• Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial and residential projects.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, drywall, doors, windows, trim, cabinetry.
• Install drywall and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Carry out finish work including trim, hardware, and architectural details.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specs (preferred).
• Ensure work meets specifications and building codes.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Represent Geary Builders with clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite per OSHA and company rules.
• Accurately track time and document daily work activities.
