Groom Co in Salem, MA is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Residential team. The candidate will construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures, reading blueprints and applying carpentry techniques.

Strong teamwork and physical stamina are essential for this on-site role. Applicants should have 3+ years of carpentry experience, be proficient with hand and power tools, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of proven experience as a carpenter.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Install cabinets, siding, drywall, and other fixtures.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Must provide personal tools and have reliable transportation.
