Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
• Proficiency in using power tools such as circular saws, table saws, and sanders.
• Familiarity with construction software and tools such as Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Experience with residential and commercial construction projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to construct and repair structures.
• Install doors, windows, trim, and other architectural features.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials with precision tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics and durability.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
