Career Opportunities with Oneida ESC Group

Mission Support Services (MS2) within Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for a full-time Carpenter in Green Bay, WI. (Must have experience).

Compensation: $25-$30 hourly.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Work with wood, including measuring and marking lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
  2. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
  3. Install blocking and wood trim.
  4. Verify the trueness of structures using a plumb bob and level.
  5. Measure, cut, hammer, screw, nail, level, square, pry, and clamp wood, lumber, plywood, and other framing materials.
  6. Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props using hand tools, wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
  7. Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
  8. Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  9. Maintain the project site in a neat, orderly fashion by stacking and maintaining materials in designated areas, broom-cleaning the site daily, removing debris, and securing the premises at the end of each day.
  10. Work with siding, millwork such as doors, hardware, and cabinetry.
  11. Possibility of small asphalt roofing projects or small concrete slab projects.
