Job summary

ProBuilt Hawaii is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team and bring craftsmanship, reliability, and a strong work ethic to residential and commercial projects across Hawaii.

As a ProBuilt Carpenter, you will perform rough and finish carpentry, read blueprints, and take ownership of work from start to finish while maintaining safety and quality standards that help projects stay on schedule and meet ProBuilt’s high standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of carpentry or general construction experience.
  • Working knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on assigned work.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
  • Strong awareness of jobsite safety and the ability to recognize and communicate potential hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential and commercial projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, plans, and project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, siding, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, blocking, and other structural and finish components.
  • Complete demolition, repairs, renovations, remodeling, and other construction work as needed.
  • Safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Produce high-quality work that meets ProBuilt standards while keeping projects moving on schedule.
  • Identify material needs, field conditions, potential issues, and safety concerns and communicate them proactively.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Work collaboratively with superintendents, project teams, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Share your knowledge and experience with less experienced team members and help contribute to a strong crew.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support successful project completion.

What You'll Do
