Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled carpenter to design, construct, install, and repair wooden fixtures and structures for mission critical facilities.

The role requires reading architectural drawings and adhering to safety procedures, with requirement to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of carpentry experience, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

• Must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of carpentry duties as assigned.
• Provide carpentry services, including: Design, construction, installation, and repair of wooden fixtures and structures (e.g., cabinets, furniture, shelving, doors, plaques, and custom wood products).
• Framing and finish work.
• Painting and staining.
• Installing ceiling tile grids.
• Installing commercial‑style carpet tiles.
• Monitor subcontractor performance as assigned.
• Conduct jobsite troubleshooting.
• Perform primary project layout and carpentry production.
