Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled finish carpenter or framer to join our Sioux Falls team. You will construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, reading blueprints and working from plans.

The role requires the ability to measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, frame walls and roofs, install doors and windows, and perform trim carpentry. We offer a permanent on-site position in Sioux Falls, with standard hours from 7am to 5pm, weekly pay, and benefits including medical, dental,

Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team! You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood.
• Install structures and fixtures like windows, doors, and cabinets.
• Frame walls, floors, and roofs,
• Perform trim carpentry tasks.

Hours

• 7am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)

Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in carpentry or framing, particularly in residential construct
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and general construction practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
