Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation seeks skilled Carpenters/Form Setters for highway, road, and bridge projects in the United States. You will build and set forms for retaining walls, pipes, and bridges, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality through teamwork and craftsmanlike precision.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of carpenter experience with structural forms (Symon/EFCO/Wood), own hand tools, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpenter experience on structural forms (Symon, EFCO, Wood)
• Advanced wood forming experience
• Must provide own hand tools (hammer, pouch, level, 8" crescent wrench, tape measure)
• Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools used in construction
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and blueprints
• Ability to perform physical duties (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather; willing to work days, nights, weekends

Responsibilities

• Construct, brace, and secure forms for concrete structures (retaining walls, pipes, bridges)
• Build and align forms for concrete placement
• Set and brace forms for walls, bridges, and structural components
• Read drawings, sketches, and blueprints for accurate formwork
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, and assemble forms
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform other related duties to support project needs
