Job summary

DemoWorkers LLC in Illinois is seeking a reliable Carpenter Foreman to assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily commercial construction operations. This hands-on role requires leading by example on site and coordinating crews while performing core carpentry tasks.

You will supervise drywall, painting, trim, framing, doors and hardware, enforce safety standards, review blueprints, and keep projects on schedule with quality workmanship. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience with supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project oversight and coordination.
  • Attend and participate in site meetings, reporting progress, schedules, and issues.
  • Lead and supervise commercial carpentry crews while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Perform hands-on carpentry work, including drywall, painting, trim work, framing, doors, hardware, punch-list items, and general commercial carpentry tasks.
  • Supervise demolition work and ensure it is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor labor productivity and address workforce issues as they arise.
  • Track and manage materials, tools, and equipment on site.
  • Coordinate and oversee deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, and site personnel.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
  • Identify and resolve jobsite issues to keep projects moving forward.
  • Install full tile bathrooms including durock, shower base liner, shower base, tile and grout.

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and hands‑onCarpenter Foremanto assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily commercial construction operations. This position is ideal for a working foreman who leads by example and remains actively involved in the field. In addition to supervising crews and coordinating project activities, the Carpenter Foreman will perform commercial carpentry work, including drywall installation and finishing, painting, trim carpentry, framing, door and hardware installation, and other related carpentry tasks as needed. This is a full-time, on‑site position.

Key Responsibilities
