Summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Carpenter Foreman. The Carpenter Foreman activities are coordinated with the Project Manager and/or the Superintendent to maintain productivity of the jobsite.

Essential Functions

• Constructing scaffold.
• Performing rough formwork.
• Layout and installation of wall blocking.
• Installation of roof blocking.
• Hanging and finishing drywall.
• Caulking.
• Patching hollow metal doors and frames (bondo).
• Installing fire safing (isolations) and smoke seal.
• Managing several crews of laborers and carpenters.
• Mentoring and supporting development of subordinates.
• A minimum of 4 years or more in a laborer, carpenter, or foreman role.
• Must be able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of truck, tools, and equipment, and methods and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of reading blueprints.

Preferred Experience

• Training in OSHA 10-hour.
• CPR/First Aid Training.
