Job summary

Mr. Handyman is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Handyman in Mauldin, SC to perform maintenance, repairs and carpentry for home and commercial projects using our state‑of‑the‑art ServiceTitan system.

You will join a franchise owner team with a company van, gas card, paid holidays, uniforms, iPad and technology support, and flexible hours to accommodate life events. You’ll manage customer expectations and document work to deliver an exceptional experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years’ paid handyman experience.
• Own your own tools.
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle.
• Complete a background and driving record check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Able to work safely at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance, repairs and carpentry for home and commercial projects.
• Communicate with customers to explain what needs to be done and manage scope/cost expectations.
• Deliver a great experience to create life‑long customers and follow the Mr. Handyman Way.
• Self‑manage as you’ll often work independently.
• Speak with customers and collect payments while providing excellent service.
• Have the necessary tools and use technology effectively.
• Document the job following our process, the Mr. Handyman Way.
• Wear PPE and booties to protect customers’ homes.
