Job summary

Hausmann Construction Inc. is seeking a motivated helper to assist the onsite team with carpentry tasks in Lincoln, NE. You will support layouts, read blueprints, measure and cut raw materials, and help with pre-install work on busy construction projects.

The role focuses on assisting foremen to keep jobsites running safely and efficiently, with opportunities to learn carpentry skills, build scaffolding, and contribute to frames and structures on site.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in basic carpentry is preferred.

This position will assist commercial construction projects by creating layouts, reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting raw materials and helping with pre-con install. Primary duties center around assisting the foreman or superintendent in keeping a jobsite running efficiently and safely. Specific tasks may include building scaffolding, joining structural components with the aid of nails, screws or adhesives, constructing frames / structures to assist in pouring concrete, and other duties related to carpentry work. The ability to work productively with others, maintain open lines of communication and demonstrate problem-solving skills are all attributes we seek from successful applicants.
