Job summary

Hausmann Construction in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking a carpenter/entry-level professional to support commercial projects. You will help create layouts, read blueprints, measure and cut raw materials, and assist the foreman to keep the jobsite running safely and efficiently.

This position will assist commercial construction projects by creating layouts, reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting raw materials and helping with pre-con install. Primary duties center around assisting the foreman or superintendent in keeping a jobsite running efficiently and safely. Specific tasks may include building scaffolding, joining structural components with the aid of nails, screws or adhesives, constructing frames / structures to assist in pouring concrete, and other duties related to carpentry work. The ability to work productively with others, maintain open lines of communication and demonstrate problem-solving skills are all attributes we seek from successful applicants.
