Job summary

Josh and Chris Siding Company Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to construct, install and repair wood structures, framing decks, and exterior fixtures using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is dedicated to quality work and safety.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following plans, and collaborating with customers and suppliers. Prior carpenter experience is preferred; must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. Benefits include uniforms, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Carpenter preferred.
• Ability to read and act on blueprints.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Drug and Alcohol free.
• Driver's license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials.
• Experience in framing decks/screen porches.
• Install Composite Decking, Vinyl and Aluminum rails, and other exterior materials.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals.
