Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a skilled Carpenter to build rough wooden structures and temporary frames for commercial construction projects in Winston-Salem. You will follow blueprints or oral instructions and ensure safety protocols are observed on site.

The role requires the ability to work at height, lift materials up to 50 lbs, and work in varied weather conditions, with preference given to candidates with experience in concrete forms and gang forms.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures such as forms, scaffolds, and temporary frame shelters according to sketches, blueprints, or instructions.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a drug-free work environment.
• Provide own tools (hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, tool pouch).
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions when required.
