Job summary

TradeSource, Inc. is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our on-site construction team in New York.

The role focuses on building and finishing structures using metal studs, drywall, insulation, doors, windows, and siding, with strong attention to quality and safety. You will read blueprints and plans, perform finish carpentry such as cabinets and moldings, and operate hand tools and power tools and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Construct metal stud framing for walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings.
• Install drywall, insulation, doors, windows, and exterior siding or trim.
• Perform finish carpentry including installing cabinets, countertops, baseboards, and molding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans accurately.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all construction work meets local building codes and quality standards.
