Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three years of carpentry or related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Proficiency with measuring, layout, cutting, and assembling construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and materials.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble lumber, plywood, and other materials.
• Construct, install, and brace concrete forms for piers, footings, walls, and other structures.
• Install scaffolding, ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
• Install door and window bucks, subfloors, sheathing, plaster grounds, and other components.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain a clean job site.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Travel between project sites as required and work overtime as schedules demand.
